Since the reopening of the commercial air route to Socotra, the ABU DHABI - SOCOTRA connection has become 100% reliable allowing tourism on the island once again. Today you can reach Socotra with a weekly NON-STOP DIRECT FLIGHT from Abu Dhabi that is scheduled for every Monday.
It's a governmental charter flight and they do not offer online booking yet. This unfortunately means that in order to get a seat on this in demand flight you need to be assisted by a local agency. To ease this process we use our local contacts to help make your flight reservations.

All tourists need a Yemeni visa to visit Socotra island. WE TAKE CARE OF THE WHOLE PROCEDURE FOR YOU.
The process usually takes 10/14 days and the visa will be issued here by the island authorities.

The only thing we need from you is a photo of the main page of your passport. Once we obtained your visa we will send you a copy by email, you just need to print it and show it at the Dubai check-in counter in order to board the flight. We will be waiting for you with the original copy of your visa at the arrival hall at the Socotri airport.
TRAVELLING TO DUBAI
Dubai is open to tourists once again.
All passengers arriving into Dubai from any point of origin must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
TRAVELLING FROM DUBAI TO SOCOTRA
Once you land at Dubai airport you will receive a free of charge PCR test. You have to wait in Dubai for the test result that may take up to 12 hours max, then you can cross the border into the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Your negative PCR test result (as mentioned above) must be received at maximum within the past 48 hours. Upon crossing the border into Abu Dhabi, proceed directly to Abu Dhabi International Airport. Please note you are transferring directly to the airport. Failing to do so may result in fines and penalties. Please make sure to have downloaded and activated the ALHOSN UAE application on your smart device in order to receive your test results ahead of departure from Abu Dhabi International Airport. The application is available through the App Store for iOS devices (iPhones) or the Google Play Store for Android devices.
TRAVELLING FROM SOCOTRA TO ABU DHABI
There is NO need for PCR at the island. After you have disembarked from your flight in Abu Dhabi, medical authorities at the airport will perform a free of charge, mandatory PCR test. You will need to inform the medical authorities that you will be travelling out of Abu Dhabi Emirate directly to the emirate of Dubai. This will enable you to be exempted from mandatory quarantine in Abu Dhabi. You will only be permitted to travel to another emirate by official Airport Taxi, Etihad Chauffeur, or Etihad Express Coach. After selecting your preferred mode of transport, leave Abu Dhabi International Airport and head directly to your final destination.
